The Mission

People’s lives, especially for the most vulnerable, in the 21st century London can be fragile.

For people without independent means, support network and resources, a simple emergency can lead to not meeting basic needs: a decent income, a secure home or support. For too many people insecurity and poverty are never far. Structural or persistent unmet needs can result in deep entrenched poverty.

The statutory protections and support systems in the UK are weak, too slow and ineffective.

Therefore, we exist

To help the most vulnerable in society to access support by providing advice and assistance in social welfare, focusing on maintaining basic income standards and avoid any life events becoming a long term crisis.

To help people through education to manage risks they face and build resilience and remain independent.

To Support people with education and legal advice on key social welfare areas of law.

We plan to primarily pursue this purpose, in West London, where we have direct experience of casework.
This is where we have strong links, built over 50 years, with local communities, statutory services and community groups.
