How to Challenge Being Dismissed for Alleged Performance Issues
Written By
Team Nucleus

Our client Leo is a handyman working for a local hotel. He needed Employment office after being called to a meeting without any notice or details of its nature.

Once in the meeting, his boss made vague allegations of poor performance, lacking any detail, and he was dismissed without notice. In the following letter, the employer included a list of 6 performance issues. These issues hadn't been systematically discussed in the meeting and they did not give any dates, times, or examples of the issue, just vague complaints.

Leo was not given sufficient detail of the alleged problems or any time to prepare a proper response.

Fortunately for Leo, we helped him draft an appeal and get it in on time. We also agreed to take on his unfair dismissal claim if the appeal isn't successful.

If you feel that you have been unfairly dismissed, Nucleus can assist you. Give us a call!
